[REVIEW] Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleansing Water

Hello readers! Continuing a series of reviews from the products I had bought from Innisfree, today's review would be on the Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleansing Water!

This product is used to remove light make-up such as bb creams, as well as light point make up such as eye-liners. This was something I had gotten on a whim while browsing through the store. The bottle was rather big, containing 300ml of the liquid. And being a fan of the Green Tea series, I couldn't resist giving this a try.

Product Benefits:
This dewy, easily washable cleansing water contains Jeju eco-friendly green tea and Green Complex, and witch hazel water which provides moisturising, antioxidant properties and thoroughly removes not only sunscreen and BB cream, but also light point make-up.

4-Free System: No parabens, No animal ingredients, No mineral oil, No artificial fragrances.

Instructions for use:

Place 2 sheets of cotton pads on top of pump and gently press downwards.

Cute pump!
Use wet cotton pads to softly swipe across your face.

For demonstration purposes, I had only used one cotton pad

When your skin feels dry, wash only with water after product use.

Before (right) & After (left)

 SUMMARY OF REVIEW

My thoughts: When I opened the cap and pumped some of the water onto the cotton pad, I immediately got a whiff of the product. The green tea fragrance is just like the rest of the brand's Green Tea line - which is something I enjoy very very much. The fragrance is a lot stronger here, so for those who aren't sure if they're fans of green tea, it would be best to head down to your local store to try it out before buying! The make-up remover properties was also good! It left my skin feeling a tad bit greasy after cleaning, but this disappeared after a few minutes, in which it left my skin feeling soft and cool. It doesn't appear to have any alcohol in it either. The green tea fragrance lingers on the skin after removal (yay!). :) I would recommend this to people who only wear very light make-up or sunscreen. :)

Would I buy it again: Yes! I love the cleansing power of this product, and the smell is a huge yes for me too!

Price: SGD$20 at local Innisfree stores, 12000won (~SGD$14.30) in South Korea, SGD$19.90 at qoo10.sg

 Verdict: 10/10

[REVIEW] Innisfree No Sebum BB Cream

Hello readers! Today I'll be doing a review on one of the few BB creams I have been using for quite a while now - Innisfree No Sebum BB Cream

[40ml, SPF 30 PA++, No. 2 Natural Beige]
Product Benefits: This bb cream contains natural mineral powder naturally derived from the islands of Jeju. The minerals prevents darkening and enhances brightening of the skin. It also contains natural sebum control powder which absorbs excessive sebum on the skin surface, and helps to present a non-greasy, soft and powdery complexion all day long. It also contains Jeju green tea extract and mint extract to control and balance moisture for helatier skin. The product also carries a 4-free system: No animal ingredients, No benzophenones, No acrylamides, No artificial fragrances.

Instructions for use:
After your regular skincare routine, apply an appropriate amount onto palm.

Before

Dab on forehead, nose, both cheeks and chins with your fingers then spread evenly over from wide to narrow areas.

After
SUMMARY OF REVIEW
My thoughts: The bb cream does give you a powdery complexion upon application. However, the lasting power of this cream wasn't very strong. It lasted for approximately 3 hours before most of it seemed to have vanished from my skin. O.O Oil control was good while the bb cream lasted. The coverage it provides was good too, not too thick such that you get that gunky feeling, but not too light that all your blemishes can still be seen. It feels light and has a herb-like scent, something that I'm beginning to realise exists in many of Innisfree's products.I would recommend this for people with oily or combination skin. :)
Would I buy it again: Perhaps so, I do like the texture that the bb cream feels on my skin. Although coverage isn't very long lasting, I usually wear this only when I'm going to school (no need for all that foundation and eyeliners there!) or going out for a quick trip. So this does what I need. :)
Price: SGD$20 at local Innisfree stores (there's only one so far at Takashimaya), 18000 won (S$21) in South Korea, SGD$21 at qoo10.sg
Verdict: 8/10

[REVIEW] Laneige Multiberry Yoghurt Peeling Gel

Hello readers! I have decided to do a review on my favorite facial care regime brand - Laneige today!

Today's review would be on Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel. This product is a very very gentle exfoliating facial scrub. So I use this about once or twice a week, depending on how rough I think my skin feels.

Product Benefits (taken from the Laneige website):

* Hypo-allergenic peeling gel gently polishes skin for a smooth complexion with mannan and strengthen the skin barrier with the fermented yogurt.* Soft yet powerful exfoliation- Natural Konjac (Mannan) beads gently exfoliate dead skin cells and impurities with short time of massage.- Recoverine from Chestnuts extracts promotes turnovers of horny layers to remove dead cells for vigorous water supply and sleek skin texture.* De-oxidating and calming effect for healtier skin- Sogurty™, a specialized fermented yogurt, has anti-inflammatory effects to soothe skin from skin troubles.- Multi berry complex (various berry extracts from raspberries, blueberries, wolfberries, cranberries, and strawberries) delivers abundant nutrition and antioxidants to eliminate harmful free radicals.
Instructions for use (taken from the Laneige website):
1. Used on wet skin after face wash.
2. Take an appropriate amount (2cm in diameter is recommended) and gently massage over the face using
gentle circular movements with the fingertips, and then rinse with lukewarm water.

The texture feels like like thick liquid
* Use 1-2 times a week.
* For best results, follow with Laneige Multiberry Yogurt
* Caution: Avoid eye area
SUMMARY OF REVIEW
My thoughts: The peeling gel has a fragrance skin to strawberry yogurt...and medicine? It reminded me of a pastel pink strawberry flavoured liquid medication I had taken in the past when I was sick. So...the fragrance wasn't very pleasant to me. However, if you had no past experiences with yucky medication, this could actually smell like sweet strawberries! (with yoghurt of course). The gel was very very very gentle, I could hardly SEE the konjac beads without squinting my eyes, and I could NOT FEEL the beads when I was massaging it all over my face either.

I tried to take a photo of the konjac beads, but it was hard enough to see it as it is. :P
After washing it off, my skin felt smooth and there was absolutely no redness at all either. I'm not sure whether the smoothness of the skin was because I had washed my face or it was really the exfoliating properties of the product. It was THAT GENTLE.
Would I buy it again: Probably not. I was a bit doubtful over whether it really did exfoliate the dead skin, and the price isn't too hot either if I keep this as part of my regime permanently. In addition, the fragrance isn't appealing to me either. However, this product is so gentle, it would probably be good for those who has very sensitive skin. :)
Price: SGD$42 at local Laneige counters and boutiques, approximately SGD$20 in South Korea, SGD$21.50 at qoo10.sg
Verdict: 7/10

[REVIEW] Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleansing Foam

Hello readers! As I've recently been on an Innisfree Green Tea blogging spree, I thought I might as well do a review on this facial cleanser - Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleaning Foam. I alternate my cleansers between this one and Laneige Multicleanser (my review of that here!).

As most of you know by now (if you don't, click here for a quick summary of the brand, Innisfree!), Innisfree is my favourite cosmetic brand due to its natural ingredients. Their facial cleansers are also pretty affordable, and effective too!

Product Benefits:
Enriched with Green Tea and Green complex from pure Jeju Island. Green tea revives dry, stressed skin by supplying abundant moisture.
This mild cleansing foam cleanser contains Jeju eco-friendly green tea moisturising, antioxidant ingredients and kaolin. It washes off not only make-up residue, but also soft facial hair impurities with its refined and foamy lather as it helps to create fresh and clean skin.

Instructions for use:
Squeeze an appropriate amount onto clean hands and create lather. Smoothly massage over your face and throughly rinse with lukewarm water.

about a 20-cent dollop worth of cream usually works :)

 SUMMARY OF REVIEW
My thoughts: I absolutely love the green herb and grass-like smell of this cleanser. The fragrance is pretty intense compared to the other similar products in the Innisfree Green Tea Line.

Would I buy it again: Yes! I alternate this with my Laneige Multi Cleanser :)

Price: SGD$10 at local Innisfree stores, 6000won in South Korea

Verdict: 9/10

[REVIEW] Innisfree Green Tea Pure Gel Hand Cream

Hello readers! As Christmas is nearing soon, we are all probably heading to the malls to pick up some stocking gifts for the people we love. The product that I'll be reviewing today is an ideal stocking stuffer and very suitable for those who work in air-conditioned offices and even nurses, who are subjected to dry hands each day - Innisfree Green Tea Pure Gel Hand Cream

(That's right, it's a gel)

Product Benefits:
Enriched with chemical-free Green Tea from Jeju Island, this refreshing gel-type hand cream is enriched with moisturising antioxidants to restore resilience.

Instructions for use:
Apply an appropriate amount evenly onto hands and massage.

The gel-like texture absorbs quickly into your skin

 SUMMARY OF REVIEW
My thoughts: Yet again, it smells similarly to the other products in the Innisfree Green Tea Line. I have always loved the green herb and grassy fragrance so it's a joy to apply! The cream is non-sticky and doesn't leave that greasy residual feeling after application. In fact, this gel absorbs quickly into the skin as I massaged it over my hands.

screw-in cap

Would I buy it again: Yes! This gel-type hand cream absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky, greasy feeling. :)

Price: SGD$10 at local Innisfree stores, 6000won in South Korea

Verdict: 10/10

[REVIEW] Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist

Hello Readers! I'll be doing a quick review on another Innisfree product - Green Tea Mineral Mist today!

This mineral mist is a facial mist, which you can use throughout the day whenever you feel like you need a pick-me-up and if your skin is feeling a bit tight or dry. :) This product comes in two sizes - 50ml and 150ml. As I would prefer it to be small enough to carry around in my bag, I had decided to pick up the smaller bottle (50ml). :)

(It's as tall as my hand gel! ~12cm)

Product Benefits:

This hypoallergenic mist contains 100% organic Jeju green tea water and green complex. Green tea is known to fight free radicals and neutralise damage caused by UV exposure. Imagine having that on your face. :D It also contains panthenol (for cell growth and moisture synthesis) and batain (for fast moisturization).
6-Free System - No artificial fragrances, no parabens, no benzophenone, no ethanol, no animal ingredients and no mineral oil.

Instructions for use:

Whenever your skin feels dry, spray approximately 20cm away from face with eyes closed. It can be applied before and after make-up. *do not shake bottle before use. (this proved to be a bit of a problem for me at the beginning as I was used to shaking all pressurised bottle like I'm a bartender mixing drinks...)

SUMMARY OF REVIEW

My thoughts:

This product carries a faint fragrance similar to the the rest of the products in Innisfree Green Tea Line. I loved the fragrance! It reminds me of green herbs and grass. :) It is also non-sticky and doesn't leave my skin feeling oily. I've tried it without wearing make-up and also after wearing make-up. This mist appears to help set the make-up, and gives your overall complexion a tinge (just a little tinge!) of dewiness. Even I (not a fan of dewy skin, especially since we live in humid Singapore) could actually accept this level of dewiness.

Would I buy it again:

Yes! I have been looking for a facial mist to tote around, and I'm glad I found this!

Price (50ml):

SGD$8 at local Innisfree stores, 5000won in Korea, approximately SGD$8.90 at Qoo10

Verdict: 10/10!
